FULVIO BENETTI

Fulvio Benetti has been serving as Sustainability Director at the Ermenegildo Zegna Group since 2022. In this role, he has led and implemented the Group’s ESG strategy, focusing on reducing environmental and social impact across the value chain. His responsibilities include overseeing responsible sourcing, with a specific focus on certified traceable raw materials, driving innovation in energy and materials, and cultivating strategic partnerships aligned with the Group’s sustainability goals. The Group, in fact, is progressing toward net-zero emissions by 2050, with its targets verified by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and actively contributes to industry-wide efforts such as the Fashion Pact’s renewable energy and cotton in-setting programs, and the Re.Crea Consortium for post-consumer circularity.

Fulvio also supports Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) programs, employee training, and ESG governance. He is the Scientific Director of the Master in Fashion, CSR & Sustainability Management at Milano Fashion Institute, and holds an engineering degree from Politecnico di Milano and an MBA from St. Gallen University. His previous experiences include various roles with the Group, at Bain & Company and Cisco Systems.

 

At the Ermenegildo Zegna Group, Fulvio reports to Paola Durante, Chief of External Relations, reporting to the Gildo Zegna, Chairman of the Board of the Group.
